Operating redesign

Rebuild the business for how work happens now.

AI and automation change what work costs, how it gets done, and what people need to decide. Rebuild Partners helps owners and operating leaders redesign those choices together, then put the changes into practice.

Hand-drawn teams connect work, economics, and ownership in a feedback loop.
Work, economics, and ownership change together.

The operating problem

A faster task can leave the business stuck.

A team produces work faster, but approvals still take days. Delivery effort falls, but the contract still sells hours. A machine automates one step, while the next step keeps waiting.

Operating redesign means changing how work moves, how its economics work, and who owns the decisions. We examine the whole workflow, identify what needs to change, and turn that into a plan the team can use.

The Audit comes first. It establishes whether a rebuild is worth pursuing. A decision to stop is a valid result.

Agencies

For owners of custom software and digital agencies. Connect AI-assisted delivery with pricing, scope, quality checks, and the decisions that still depend on the founder.

Another operating context? Bring the workflow, the constraint, and the decision you need to make. The filter call can establish whether the method fits.

The method

Follow the work, the economics, and the decisions.

  1. Diagnose the constraint

Map where effort, delay, waste, or margin loss sits. Separate the visible symptom from the operating choices behind it.

  2. Redesign the work

Define the workflow, handoffs, quality checks, and human responsibilities that the changed operation needs.

  3. Make the economics explicit

Connect the change to its business rationale. In an agency, that may involve pricing and scope; in a plant, waste, downtime, and the cost of operating the line.

  4. Assign decisions and responsibilities

Clarify what leaders decide, what managers own, and how the team runs and reviews the resulting system.

How you buy

A clear path from decision to operation.

After Blueprint: Install puts the agreed design into daily operations. Train helps the team run it. Both are separate engagements; Train is productized.

Install: India from ₹8,00,000, scoped after Blueprint. US / Europe / UK from $40,000, scoped after Blueprint.

Filter call is free. Final fee depends on scale and complexity. Exact quote after Filter.

Each stage is a separate decision. If Blueprint identifies reusable intellectual property with product potential, a new company may be considered later. Paid work comes first.

Capacity: a few Audits and Blueprints per quarter. Installs are rarer on purpose.

Where we draw the line

What we refuse

The work needs a real operating problem, paid diagnosis, and someone who can make the decisions.

Prompt workshops sold as transformation
Tool instruction alone does not change how work is delivered, priced, or owned. Training follows the operating design.
Strategy that ends with a presentation
Blueprint must guide real work: what changes, in what sequence, and who takes responsibility.
Quick fixes that skip diagnosis
Audit establishes whether a rebuild is worth pursuing. We do not bypass that decision to sell implementation.
Changes without a decision owner
Someone inside the business needs the authority to act on the design and resolve the choices it creates.

Before you start

How do we arrange a filter call?

The request link opens an email to hello@rebuild.partners. Describe the operating problem and who owns the decision. The time is arranged by email; the link does not reserve a calendar slot.

What does Rebuild Partners do?

Operating redesign means changing how work moves, how its economics work, and who owns the decisions. Audit establishes whether a rebuild is worth pursuing. Blueprint defines the changes; Install and Train help put them into practice.

Which category should we start with?

The agency page covers delivery, pricing, and leadership under AI pressure. The manufacturing page covers waste, downtime, operating knowledge, and the changes around AI and robotics. For another context, use the filter call to establish fit.

How do we start, and what are we committing to?

Filter call is free. Final fee depends on scale and complexity. Exact quote after Filter. The Filter takes 30 minutes. Audit: India starts from ₹1,00,000. US / Europe / UK starts from $5,000 (or €5,000 / £5,000). For many MSMEs around ₹25 crore turnover, Audit is typically up to about ₹1,50,000. Blueprint: India starts from ₹4,00,000. US / Europe / UK starts from $20,000 (or €20,000 / £20,000). Install: India from ₹8,00,000, scoped after Blueprint. US / Europe / UK from $40,000, scoped after Blueprint. Each stage is a separate decision. Install and Train are separate later engagements; Train is productized and priced separately.

Does every Audit lead to an Install?

No. Audit produces a go/no-go decision on a rebuild. Blueprint defines the changes if the work proceeds. Install is a separate engagement to put the design into practice.

Can equity replace the engagement fee?

No. Paid work comes first. A newco path is optional and only follows if Blueprint identifies trapped product IP.
